Shoulders shoulders shoulders! Class this week is allllll about our shoulders, and my goodness do they need support some days. Physically, tension in our shoulders can create pain or discomfort in our neck and contribute to headaches. They also can constrict our lung space and prevent us from using the full capacity of our breath. Emotionally, the shoulders store experiences of manipulation and control.


Shoulders are my favorite to support, for those reasons! Through our opening meditation and physical (asana) yoga practice, we will support the release of feeling manipulated or controlled as well as create an opportunity to open up our lungs and relieve our necks and heads.
