Yin and Meditate

30 minutes of Yin Yoga followed by 30 minutes of learning how to meditate. You don't need a calm mind to be ready for this class ;) Yin yoga is a tool for myofascial release (aka unwinding tension in our connective tissues). You can keep this stretch gentle or take it deeper!

Yin Yoga gives us access to unwind one of the many structures in our bodies that store unfelt emotions, limiting beliefs, and powerlessness. As these structures unwind, so do the experiences that they store, therefore restoring peacefulness, confidence, and power (aka our ability to find emotional safety in all situations). Our busy minds often come from congestion and tension in these connective tissues. Therefore, unwinding them prior to meditation allows us to settle in more easily and deeply.
