Relationship Therapy with Jaclyn Zeal, LMFT

JZ headshot.jpg

Jaclyn Zeal is a licensed marriage & family therapist, and she offers relational healing for women, mothers and couples in the Philly suburbs.

How is a relational approach to therapy different?

Human beings are relational. We may live in a hyper-individualistic culture, but our true nature is to exist in a web of interdependence. That’s why it is so distressing when our relationships are struggling — they are crucial to our well-being.

Jaclyn has extensive training in relational dynamics, attachment theory, and nervous system regulation. She works with women individually, and she sees couples for marriage and couples counseling. Jaclyn helps clients recognize their needs, understand their attachment patterns, learn relational skills, and deepen connections.

A therapist committed to the work

From Jaclyn: “Friend, I am with you in the trenches! While I have been curious about what makes a relationship work since very young — I have really struggled to find a healthy ways of relating. I was prone to conflict-avoidance, self-abandonment, and codependency. In fact, I didn’t even realize all this was happening until I landed on the other side of divorce.

Sometimes it takes hardship for us to grow — and that was my case! I took this opportunity to change my life, break my patterns, and embark on my dream of becoming a therapist.”
