Community Update from Julie DiPaolo, PT
It’s hard to believe I’ve already been at Just Be Holistic Center for four months! In that time, I’ve had the opportunity to connect with many of you and gain a deeper understanding of the community and how I can best support your health and wellness.
One of the first things I noticed is how many of us have come to accept pain as a normal part of life. While aging is natural, living with pain doesn’t have to be. Often, we lose mobility not because of age itself, but because old injuries haven’t been fully addressed—or we brush off things like dental procedures as minor, not realizing the body remembers. When we don’t resolve these issues, our bodies adapt by creating compensatory movement patterns, which can lead to more discomfort down the road.
That’s where movement assessments come in. They are incredibly effective tools for identifying dysfunctional patterns and understanding which muscles, joints, or nerves may be involved. This is the foundation of my work—movement, not fancy techniques, is what truly helps people feel and move better. With a thorough assessment, I can tailor treatments and exercises much more specifically and effectively.
Another thing I’ve learned is that many people think self-care has to be expensive. And yes, it can be—but it doesn’t have to be. That’s why I offer flexible session lengths—15, 30, 45, and 60 minutes—to make it more accessible. We can accomplish a lot in even just 15-30 minutes, and often see meaningful progress and new movement patterns emerge.
For those of you who’ve been working with me, thank you! I’ve been offering a discount on services, and that will continue through the end of May. At the end of May, I’ll be offering the option to purchase packages of 15-minute sessions at the same discounted rate, so you can continue to prioritize your care without breaking the bank.
Thanks for being a part of this journey with me. I'm grateful to be here and to support your path to better movement and less pain.
Warmly,
Julie DiPaolo
